Dog Parks around Los Angeles:

Please note, not all dogs should go to a dog park as dog parks can cause a number of behavior issues.
These issues may not show up at the dog park but can manifest in other areas of the dog's life.  If you
begin to see behavior changes in your dog, typically leash aggression, after spending a lot of time at a
dog park it is recommended that you refrain from taking your dog there and possibly seek the services
of a qualified trainer to help resolve those issues.  In addition, many people take their dogs to dog parks
to socialize them.  This is great except in cases where the dog has an issue already.  In that case
they are using your dog to socialize theirs and your dog could be at risk.  A dog park is not the place to
socialize a dog with existing issues.  It is also recommended that if you go to a dog park regularly that
you be equipped with something called Direct Stop® or Spray Shield®.  This is a citronella spray in a
canister.  It sprays 8'-10' and will stop many dog fights.  Use as directed.
