Jill is the Owner/Operator at Paws and Effect Dog Training
located in North Hollywood Ca.
Jill has been working with dogs and their people for over 25 years and believes in the basic principal that rewarded behavior is repeated behavior. She strives to help dogs by teaching their people how to create and reinforce desired behaviors and conversely how to recognize and correct unwanted behavior using humane, compassionate management and training methods. Certified CPDT-KA she does in home private lessons for basic manners and works with most behavioral issues.
Jill is also a Registered Veterinary Technician and works extensively in anesthesia and dentistry. She is also "Fear Free Certified" which is a tremendous asset both in recognizing fear and dealing with it as a trainer and a tech.
Jill offers small group and semi-private puppy and adult classes
at Blue Cross Pet Hospital where she works in North Hollywood.
Classes are geared toward Basic obedience, basic manners and most common behavioral issues:
Jumping, barking, digging, Wait at doors and curbs until released to cross, sit/stay, down/stay, come when called, etc.
In home sessions are also available.
In addition to in home training services, Jill is also trained, available and licensed to perform in home vet tech services. These include but are not limited to sub Q fluid administration,
injections, pills, treat ears, clip nails, empty anal glands.
